Banquet Preparations

Hank Fackovec removing a pot of food from the US Army Gasoline fueled field stoves that are used to cook the GI Banquet that we hold Saturday night of the rally weekend.

If anyone has ever cooked on one of these stoves, they know is a very different experience.  My Sister, Marianne, also a club member,  (Seen in the background stirring the "Cheesy Grits") described them as "cooking on a jet engine".

My advice to anyone who is now to these stoves: READ THE MANUAL, READ THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS; YOU CAN GET BADLY HURT OR KILLED IF YOU USE THE STOVE INCORRECTLY.
